Stella (40), the daughter of Linda and former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, was 25 when her mother passed away from breast cancer. She now worries that she might leave her own children Miller (7), Beckett (4), Bailey Linda (6) and Reiley (2), to grow up without a mother.

“You think, ‘I’ve got to make sure I don’t get cancer for the sake of my kids,” Stella told Harper’s Bazaar.

“I’m going to make sure my sister [Mary] doesn’t get it for the sake of her kids.”

The British designer says she feels her mother’s loss every day and describes her death as “the most difficult thing [she has] ever had to encounter”.
