Longtime catwalk rivals Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks have kissed and made up with Naomi agreeing to appear on Tyra’s TV talk show. The pair, who have rubbed each other up the wrong way since they first met 14 years ago, stunned onlookers recently by hugging at a fashion show in New York. ‘America’s Next Top Model’ host Tyra once said of her archrival: “She did so many hateful things, like getting me thrown off shows because she was more famous. It got so bad that I just wanted to give up.” of their recent friendlier encounters, Tyra confesses, “It was the first time I’ve been in a room with Naomi when I didn’t fear her.” [14 November 2005]
