As the weather heats up (very, very slowly this year it seems…), we tend to change our eating habits too. Wintry soups are replaced by salads and hearty porridge brekkies become delicious smoothies; and if you’ve decided to up your smoothie game this summer – good on you!
Smoothies are a fantastic (and tasty) way to get your daily dose of fruit and veggies, along with other important vitamins and nutrients. Plus, they have a distinct advantage over other breakfast choices as they’re portable (can you imagine taking your scrambled eggs in the car with you to work? Probably not).
We’ve got two healthy summer smoothies recipes to suggest you try – in case you’re in need of some inspiration or just want to try something new.
