After just quitting The Block citing mental health issues, Jesse, 29, and Paige, 27, haven’t held back when it comes to criticising producers for a lack of duty of care. Now Paige claims she has been backed up by several former contestants with similar experiences.

The Perth insurance specialist – who exited the reality reno show in week five – shared what she claimed was a string of messages from former participants revealing their own stories from their time on The Block.

Paige claims The Block needs “serious reform”.

“Just a bit of insight into the many different conversations I’ve had with past contestants,” Paige wrote on Instagram. “With some contestants dating back over a decade ago.”

And one anonymous participant reportedly wrote, “Change is definitely needed. Or at least transparency of the risks and nature of the production to people applying in future… We were edited in such an unfair manner. They will do anything for ratings, including putting the show before people’s health.”
