Woman’s Day On The Go: One Thousand Ropes premiere

The stars stepped out for the premiere of One Thousand Ropes at Event Cinemas in Manukau on Wednesday, following the Kiwi film’s world premiere at the 2017 Berlin Film Festival.

Starring Frankie Adams (Shortland Street) in her feature film debut, Uelese Petaia (Sons for the Return Home), Beulah Koale (Shortland Street), Sima Urale (Apron Strings), Ene Petaia (Sione’s Wedding) and Anapela Polataivao (Night Shift), the movie follows the story of a father reconnecting with his youngest daughter.

The film was directed by Tusi Tamasese (writer and director of The Orator – O Le Tulafale) and is out now in NZ cinemas.
