“I have tried Tinder,” tells the 24-year-old, who was sent packing from The Bachelor New Zealand last night. “I went on a couple of dates, it was good. It’s a great way to meet new people and get out and about.”

Yet despite being free to “swipe” as she chooses, the nursing student isn’t looking for a new relationship just yet, telling Woman’s Day she’s still confused about where she went wrong with Jordan.

“I didn’t see it coming at all,” says Amanda. “I was quite shocked – I had no idea that was going to be me.

Amanda was the latest bachelorette to leave the mansion on last night’s episode of The Bachelor NZ.

“We definitely had a connection, and it would’ve been nice if I could have got to know him a little bit more and we could have built on that. From my time speaking to Jordan, I thought everything went really well. It’s a bit of a confusing situation, not knowing where I went wrong or what he was looking for.”

But the statuesque blonde insists she holds no hard feelings towards Jordan.

“He’s a good guy,” she says. “This process has got to be hard on him too. He’s looking for love, I’m looking for love, but we aren’t right for each other.

“I do believe that guy is out there, and eventually I will find him.”
