Seven Sharp reporter Erin Conroy has welcomed a baby boy.
The news was announced by Mike Hosking and Toni Street on the current affairs show’s first night back for 2017.
“We’ve got something pretty special that we want to introduce you to tonight,” Hosking said.
“Erin Conroy was very, very busy over the summer welcoming [her] little one into the world.”

Conroy, who has also been a reporter on 20/20, gave birth to a son, Guy, who was two weeks overdue, and weighed in at 4.2kg (nine pounds, five ounces).
“I kept sending those awkward texts to Erin, ‘Has the baby come yet?’,” Street explained, before her co-host claimed he had predicted the tot’s late arrival.
