The 44-year-old TV presenter and his jewellery designer wife wed in Auckland in 2006, before going onto have two children – Sofia (6), and Tomas (4).
Sources close to the pair told the Herald on Sunday that friends are “devastated” by the split, and hope they can resolve it.
“We wish them lots of love and luck in getting through this,” they told the paper.
The couple are in the middle of building a mutli-million dollar property on Waiheke Island – with the luxury house tipped to come with a gym and swimming pool.
But the house has caused them no end of trouble, with the pair in a spar with a neighbour over the new driveway to the exclusive Ellis holiday home.
Former breakfast host Marc left his job at MoreFM in 2013, after saying he wanted to spend more time with his young family.
“Sofia and Tomas are starting to remember things now, so I want them enjoying Daddy at home in the morning and full of energy.
“Waking up at 5.15am and working a full day after the show is pretty intense.”
Neither Marc nor Agustina have officially confirmed the split at the time of publication.
